Evie was not a woman to shy away from doing her duty, pregnancy or no pregnancy, but as her term had worn on she had found herself more and more in need of less strenuous tasks, and the majority of missions back in London had been left to Jacob or the recruits to deal with - except when she couldn't trust anybody but herself, of course, but even then she didn't quite have the stealth capabilities she used to. It's only a temporary inconvenience, and every mission she's missed has been through her own choice, so she isn't too put out by it. It has allowed her to catch up on a number of more desk-based research projects, many of which she'd brought with her to the homestead, enjoying the peace and fresh air - and Connor's company, of course.
She was just copying up some accounts from previous master Assassins that were currently on badly damaged scrolls when Connor found her, and while she considered the work important it wasn't so urgent that she felt any need to argue - besides, she was intrigued by the firmness in his tone.
She allowed herself to be drawn away, expression curious "What is it?"
